Why I built Vixir.
I wanted one app that did everything my business needed, without paying hundreds of pounds a year for it. The big job management apps were built for firms with an office and a team. I just wanted to quote, book the work and get paid from my phone.

Is Vixir really free?
Yes. Customers, jobs, the diary, unlimited quotes and invoices, payments, To do, parts and the morning summary are free with no time limit and no card. Free is enough for most small businesses. Free quotes and invoices carry a small “Made with Vixir” line.
What does Pro add, and what does it cost?
Pro is £12 a month for up to 2 people, less than a standard Netflix plan. It adds VAT, removes the “Made with Vixir” line, and unlocks online booking, card payments, automatic emails, your own forms, quotes accepted online, On the way and Arrived texts, repeat work, photos and files, calendar sync and accounts downloads. Team (£24, up to 6 people) and Business (£48, up to 15) are everything in Pro for bigger teams. Upgrade only when your business needs it, and cancel any time.
Is Vixir a CRM or job management software?
Both. It keeps every customer's details and history like a CRM, and it runs the work itself like job management software: quotes and estimates, scheduling, invoicing and payments, all in one app.
Can I send VAT invoices?
Yes, with Pro. Add your VAT number once and Vixir shows VAT on every quote and invoice, with the totals worked out for you.
Does it work for my trade?
If you quote, do the work and invoice for it, yes. You choose your own words (quote or estimate, customers or clients, jobs or appointments) and your own price list, so it fits plumbers, builders, cleaners, gardeners, hairdressers and most other service businesses.
Do I need an iPhone?
No. The iPhone app is coming to the App Store, and Vixir also works in the web browser on any Android phone, tablet or computer. Sign in on as many devices as you like.
Can I bring my customers over from another app?
Yes. Export them from your old system or spreadsheet as a CSV file and import them in Vixir (More → Import customers). Vixir matches the columns and leaves out duplicates.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Screens you've opened before still show what the phone last saved, and job notes you write with no signal are sent when it comes back.
What if I stop paying for Pro?
Nothing is lost. Invoices and certificates you've already issued stay in the app and can still be opened and shared. Pro features simply stop starting anything new.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Invite people from the app with a join link and everyone sees the same customers, jobs and diary. Free is for one person, Pro covers 2, Team 6 and Business 15.
Can customers book with me online?
Yes, with Pro. Switch on Online booking, set your working hours, and share your booking link on your website or Facebook page. Customers pick a job and a free time, and the booking waits in your diary for you to confirm.
